Our names are Thomas Whitley and ZaBik Bualteng and we are the founders of Standing with Orphans.  This mission fund started in 2013 after we visited several orphanages in Chin State, Sagaing division, and around Yangon of Myanmar.  The mission was full of dangers and required great faith that God would pave our way.   During this mission, we saw that the Lord was protecting us and that He had already ordained this meeting between these children and us.   We came home and started a fund to feed these children we met thru our local community foundation.  Most of our donors were friends, family and the church.   Now, with the Lords directive, we are taking this small mission fund and announcing it to the world.  We have shown donors that we have a passion for these children and our motives are based only on providing for them.  And, the Lord has shown that these children are His and He will provide for them.  We do not take salaries, or use the donations for anything but the children.

We are in need of full time monthly donors that will consider giving to this mission to help us feed the orphans we are committed to and the orphans we will soon meet.  We are planning a return trip to Myanmar in the first months of next year and will use this trip to scout out new orphanages in the outskirts that are in great need.  We are opening this mission fund in anticipation of what Christ will be adding to our commitments.  For this reason we ask for the prayers of the church for our upcoming mission to the field and pray that God will provide monthly donors to make this possible.
